Introducing the ISO Finder

The Finder is a more modern, easier, more personalized way of downloading your desired ISO.

It is still in beta though, so it is not fully complete and may have issues. Please use it carefully.

You can now try it on the Desktop only (and ISOBook only) by clicking on the Operating Systems page and choosing Finder (beta).

UPDATE 7/11: We have taken the ISO Finder off ISOBook for a while to test internally. Thank you for trying it out!

We’ve fixed an issue where all subpages and downloads may have given a 404 Not Found error on mobile.

We’ve made the buttons, when hovered, have a darker border to match the ISOBook for Servers buttons.

We’ve ran some tests on some ISOs and replaced a few that were corrupt/broken.

We’ve made some images, like Windows 1.x, Windows 2.x, and Windows 3.x’s header images smaller to match the rest.

We’ve made the buttons, like the Latest button on the Operating Systems pages, and the Read More buttons on the OS pages match the colors of the sites.

We’ve fixed an issue where the Old Windows Betas, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 pages may have given a 500 Internal Server Error on Desktop.

We’ve updated all OS pages on ISOBook, ISOBook for Servers, and the mobile versions of both to remove the “for ‘the system'” after Downloads.

We’ve also updated all of the pages to have slightly rounded images like the mobile site.

We’ve added some spaces on the OS pages where they were needed.

We fixed up the mobile site a little bit.

We fixed other various errors.

We’ve fixed an issue where on the mobile ISOBook for Servers site, the link to ISOBook on the homepage led to the Desktop ISOBook.

We’ve changed the bottom copyright on ISOBook for Servers to say “2018 ISOBook for Servers” rather than “2018 ISOBook”.

We’ve removed the message on the Operating Systems page saying that it’s only recommended on virtual machines and testing …

We’ve added a divider line above the Unsupported section on Operating Systems to match the Supported.

We’ve rearranged where some ads go.

Happy Anniversary, ISOBook!

On June 10th, 2017, the first iteration of ISOBook was created on Google Sites as a small project just for fun.

We never expected to have this many views, downloads, and more.

Now, ISOBook is a beautiful, modern, advanced site hosted on its own dedicated server, and it is more advanced and full than ever.

Thank you for a year of ISOBook. Who knows what’s to come!
