12/15/2018 Changelog

We have received feedback from some people stating they want the old full screen OS pages back, so now, if you open an OS modal, there is a button to the left of Close in the bottom right labeled View full page. This will lead you to the classic page style.

The shadows on the OS modals are a bit more pronounced.

We’ve fixed an issue where there was an extra space before the Windows XP link on the mobile Operating Systems page.

We’ve updated a few links, and are in the process of updating lots more.

And of course, as usual, we’ve included backend fixes, speed improvements, and fixes for other minor errors that you possibly may not see.

10/23/2018 Changelog

Introducing the redesigned Modal Popup OS Pages. Now, to access OS pages, you click them the way you used to, but now instead of a page, you will see a beautiful popup window, that has three tabs, Information, Install Instructions, and Download. Click on each to see what’s inside. If you want to head right to the downloading, just click Download. No more scrolling! Then, just click outside the box, click Close in the bottom right, or click the X in the top right. We think you’ll love the new OS downloading experience.

We’ve changed the OS links on the Operating Systems page to not be underlined and have less space between them.

The OS links on the Operating Systems page also now do not have forward arrows next to them.

The Latest button is gone, instead, the Windows 10 link says “(Latest)” and you can easily click download and find the latest releases at the bottom.

The Old Windows Betas link on the Operating Systems page does not have the warning anymore, because people who are downloading probably can assume that they are not fully safe.

We’ve fixed up the mobile site a bit, like making buttons match the desktop, adding some spacing, etc, and we are still working on it.

And of course, as usual, we’ve included backend fixes, speed improvements, and fixes for other minor errors that you possibly may not see.
