Non-Routine Maintenance 7/17/2020 – 7/18/2020: Download Server Upgrade

UPDATE 7/17 10:30PM EST:

The upgrade went way smoother than expected and the new download server is online! Enjoy!

As you may have noticed, our download server has always been rather slow in performance – from lagging download starts, to taking forever to finish, to intermittent seemingly unexplainable outages.

We are upgrading our download server, which is very old – to a new one, which will have download speeds faster than lots of ISO download sites!

Unfortunately, this does mean we need to take the download server offline for a bit. Our current ETA is tomorrow (7/18/2020 – Saturday) at 2:00PM.

If you need a specific ISO urgently for some reason and we are the only place that has it, please contact us with this specific email link and we will send you a different link ASAP.

If an ETA is changed or removed, you can see on the left panel under Server Status on the maintenance page which will show up if you try to download ISOs from our site.

The main ISOBook site is still up, so you can still download ISOs which link from other sites, or simply browse our site.

Thank you for your understanding!

Stay safe and healthy!

6/16/2020 Changelog

We’ve updated the text that says “CLB Solutions” to say “carmellolb” instead.

We’ve fixed an issue where the text under Other under 32 or 64 bit in the ISO Finder may have been cut off on the right.

And of course, as usual, we’ve included backend fixes, speed improvements, and fixes for other minor errors that you possibly may not see.

ISOBook’s 3rd Anniversary

It has officially been three years since the very first iteration of ISOBook was released on June 10, 2017! ISOBook has come so far in these few years – from a simple Google Sites list of a couple ISOs to one of the biggest online libraries of Windows ISO files. Who knows what more is to come!

Below is a visual history of ISOBook from June 10, 2017 to today:

Routine Maintenance 5/28/2020 – 5/29/2020

ISOBook is down for routine maintenance. We are doing from Thursday (today) to Friday (tomorrow) instead of Wednesday to Thursday this week. ISOBook now shows a maintenance page when loading, which will give updates. This downtime is used to make your ISOBook experience better.

The ETA for the both the website and the download site being back up is May 29 (tomorrow) at 1:30PM EST.

If you need a specific ISO urgently for some reason and we are the only place that has it, please contact us with this specific email link and we will send you a different link ASAP.

If an ETA is changed or removed, you can see on the left panel under Server Status on the maintenance page which is located at the site’s address: ISOBook.net.

Thank you for your understanding!
